Frequently asked questions
What is a public adjuster?
1
A Public Adjuster is a licensed insurance professional who exclusively represents you, the policyholder, rather than the insurance company. We evaluate, document, and negotiate your property damage claim to ensure you receive your full entitlement under your policy.
How do you differ from the insurance company's adjuster?
2
The insurance company's adjuster is employed to protect the financial interests of the insurance company. As Public Adjusters, our sole fiduciary duty is to protect you and maximize your recovery.
When should I hire a Public Adjuster?
3
Ideally, immediately after a loss occurs and before you file a claim. However, we can also step in if your claim has been delayed, underpaid, or completely denied.
How much do your services cost?
4
We work strictly on a contingency fee basis, meaning there are no upfront costs out of pocket. We only get paid when you receive a settlement from your insurance carrier.
Can I handle the insurance claim myself?
5
Yes, but property policies are dozens of pages long and filled with strict legal conditions. Missing an internal deadline or failing to properly document hidden damage can drastically reduce your payout. We manage the complex administrative process so you can focus on getting back to normal.
